‘Stocks extend gains led by value’
The Japanese stock market extended gains after an initial decline as fears of inflation and slower growth prospect in the U.S. waned and on expectations of economic recovery in Japan and China. TOPIX 12 month forward PER rose to 13x level. Value outperformed growth across the board. Mid-cap stocks outperformed large- and small-cap stocks.
