Impax has been awarded top scores across all applicable categories in the UN-backed Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) assessment report of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) integration efforts. Consistently awarded top scores
We are proud to have maintained our top ratings from the PRI, to which we have been a signatory since 2008. This result is testament to our best practices across all aspects of the management of our listed and private equity investments. ESG considerations are embedded within our rigorous ten step investment process for listed equities and failure by a company to reach the required ESG score will preclude our investment. We see Impax’s consistently outstanding PRI scores as recognition of our leading approach to investing in the transition to a more sustainable economy. We recognise that more can always be done and use the PRI assessment every year to continuously improve our ESG practices.
The PRI principles
The scorecard is compiled by the United Nations-backed PRI on an annual basis to assess the ESG and sustainability credentials of firms in the investment industry, in order to promote its key objectives. It has six core principles, led by a commitment to ESG factors in the investment process.
