Regnan is a responsible investment leader with a long and proud heritage providing advice and insights on important environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. While continuing to provide engagement, advisory and research services, Regnan now also delivers innovative sustainable and impact investment solutions.
Our in-house team of experienced analysts produces rigorous, relevant ESG investment analysis.
We tailor solutions to meet the specific needs of our clients who include asset owners, fund managers, wealth managers, endowments, retail and investment banks.
We engage directly with leading listed companies, on behalf of institutional investor clients, to drive improved ESG governance and long-term thinking needed for stocks to yield higher quality returns.
Regnan also advocates for ESG considerations to become mainstream through contribution to the public policy debate, board and committee-level participation in industry bodies, and submissions to government.

J O Hambro has recently made significant investments in building out its Responsible Investment (RI) strategy. The main focus has been on establishing the building blocks required to create a firm-wide strategy that goes beyond just ESG and explores how sustainable investing can support a transition to a more resilient and equitable system, whilst also encouraging forward looking, long-term approaches to investing. To enable this, the firm has recently recruited external proven leadership from the world of sustainable investing and combined this with existing internal expertise on ESG-integrated investing with change management and business strategy to create a dedicated Sustainable Investments team within JOHCM.
Fund Investment Sustainability Objectives:
The Regnan Sustainable Water and Waste Fund’s aim is to pursue a sustainable objective by investing in companies which provide solutions to global water and/or waste related challenges. The team invest across the water and waste value chains, including in companies developing new technologies to meet the ever-growing demand for solutions to these challenges.
