Evidence of global warming is accumulating. The world meteorological organisation has stated that global average temperatures this year are already more than 1 degree higher than pre-industrial levels. And when you recall that the ambition is to limit these temperature rises to 2 degrees, then you’ll see that we’re already halfway through our margin of safety.

How does our ECO bond strategy fit into the challenge of climate change? Well, the strategy supports decarbonisation in a couple of ways.
