Chisato Haganuma joined Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation (MUFG: Trust Bank) as the Chief Strategist covering Japanese equity strategies in April 2019. He has 32 years’ experience in the investment research as a Japanese equity strategist. Prior to joining the Trust Bank, he was Chief Equity Strategist at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities for close to 9 years. Prior to this, Chisato began his career as an equity strategist at Nomura Securities in 1987. He spent 23 years there and served as the organisation’s Managing Director (2004–2007) and Chief Equity Strategist (2007–2010).
Chisato holds a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Tokyo (1982) and a MSc Economics from London School of Economics and Political Science (1987). He is a Chartered Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (CMA).

Roman Poole is responsible for supporting the firm’s business and product development activities and for the growth of VanEck’s Swiss and Liechtenstein Wealth Management markets. Roman joined VanEck in July 2022 prior to which he was a specialist in forex sales and strategies for Swiss corporate clients at Ebury Partners (UK/CH)
He has an earlier career experience in the field of SaaS and cloud computing at Safe Swiss Cloud (CH) and holds a B.A. in Banking and Finance from the university of Zürich.
Richard Adams

Richard is responsible for directing our client business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and developing and implementing the organization’s long-term distribution strategy for the region.
Prior to joining American Century in 2018, he was a director and client portfolio manager covering global, U.S. and Japan equities for Columbia Threadneedle Investments. He previously served as a senior fixed income specialist at Columbia Threadneedle. Prior to that, Richard was a fixed income portfolio manager for ING Investment Management. He also served as a U.S. equity portfolio manager at Singer & Friedlander. He has worked in the investment industry since 2001.
Richard holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in finance from the University of London and a postgraduate diploma from the University of Oxford.
