The Artisan EM Debt Opportunities Strategy invests in a broad range of emerging market debt including sovereign and corporate credit, local rates, and currencies. The portfolio is constructed bottom-up and is not limited by the constraints of a benchmark.

 

The Artisan EM Local Opportunities Strategy invests primarily in local emerging markets fixed income securities and currencies. The Strategy seeks to outperform the J.P. Morgan GBI-EM Global Diversified Index while maintaining commensurate risk. The investment opportunity set is not defined by the benchmark, but seeks to deliver incremental returns by taking advantage of a wider opportunity set.

 

Darren Goldman is a managing director of Artisan Partners and a business leader for the EMsights Capital Group. Prior to this, Mr. Goldman was a managing director and client portfolio manager in the global sovereign debt and currencies group of Barings LLC where he was a key member of the team that launched emerging markets debt platform.
